Bharati Davi Potluri, age 66, of Rome, passed away peacefully, April 20, 2013, at her home, with her loving family at her side.
She was born December 10, 1946, in Zamiglvepalli, India, a daughter of Lingamaeni Sivaji Rao and Potluri Srikrishna Veenamma. Bharati was united in marriage to Dr. Kesava R. Potluri, in India; together, they moved to the United Sates, 35 years ago. She was of the Hindu faith.
Bharati is survived by her husband, Kesava; a daughter, Shalini Potluri; two sons, Suneel and Sudheer Potluri; a sister, Vegunta Rajyalakshmi; a brother, Lingamaneni Suryanarayana Rao; and a granddaughter.
Funeral prayers will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM at the chapel at Waterville Crematory, Waterville, NY. Relatives and friends may call at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, Sunday, 11 AM to 1 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
