Obituary of Patricia D. Potocki

Patricia D. Potocki Patricia D. Potocki, age 71, of Rome, passed away peacefully, November 18, 2013, with her loving family at her side. She was born September 23, 1942, in Rome, a daughter of the late Arthur and Frieda Siegfried O'Dell. She attended and graduated from Westmoreland High School. She worked at Oneida Limited. On October 15, 1960, she married Stanley Potocki at the Church of the Transfiguration in Rome; he passed away on April 10, 2013. Patricia was a family oriented person. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her life and she loved to cook for them. She enjoyed visiting the casino where she could enjoy her other hobby of playing bingo. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Patricia is survived by a daughter and her fiancée, Kim Murphy and Al Armstrong of Taberg; four sons and daughters in law, Steve and Margaret Potocki and Brian and Cheryl Potocki, all of Westmoreland, William and Deb Potocki of Orlando, FL, and Keith and Valerie Potocki of Churchville, NY; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; one sister, Debbie Stockbridge; four sisters in law, Joyce O'Dell, Linda O'Dell, Sheila O'Dell and Bonnie O'Dell; and a very special friend, Phyllis Kierpiec. She was predeceased by one sister, Carol Lutz and four brothers, John, Kenneth, Duane and Keith. The family would like to thank Margaret Potocki, Joan Donley, Laurie Johnson and Aunt Debbie Stockbridge for the exceptional care the provided to Mom and also the Siegenthaler Center for their exceptional care of Mom during her last days. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2013, at 7 PM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 7 PM, prior to the service.
