Joanna Lusignan
Joanna Lusignan, age 54, of Woodcreek Drive, passed away June 22, 2010, at Faxton-St. Luke Healthcare.
She was born February 12, 1956, in Manhattan, a daughter of Rocco and Carina Cagnoli Marasco.
Joanna was married to Dale Lusignan; he died in April of 2004. She was a retired home healthcare aide.
She was a very active member of St. Peter's Church including the Mission of The Christ Child, Legion of Mary, Altar Rosary Society and religious education teacher. She was very devoted to the children in the first sacrament program.
Joanna is survived by her beloved grandson Joseph Lusignan who lived with Joanna; step-sons and daughter in law, Jason and Amber Lusignan of Tx. and Scott Lusignan of Fl.; brothers and sisters in law, Rocco and Fay Marasco of Mastic, NY, Steven and Debbie Marasco of Montgomery, NY, Victor and Patricia Marasco of Medford, NY ; sisters and brothers in law, Cathy and John Fife of Middletown, NY, Tracey Marasco of Farmingville, NY, Stephanie and Ralph Zangariello of Mastic, NY and Carina and Rob Robinson of Lake Hurst, NJ and sister in law Cindy Lusignan.
A memorial Mass will be held at St. Peter's Church on Saturday, June 26 at 1:00 PM. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Church Memorial fund or St. Peter's Church Mission of The Christ Child
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
