Our deepest sympathy to all of you at this saddest of times. We grew up in the best of neighborhoods with great parents who let us ruin their lawns with football and kick the can games. The neighborhood will never be the same. We will miss seeing your Mom outside doing yard work and always taking the time to say hello. Marcia, Margaret and Donna

As we look back through the pages of our past, it is sometimes the "little" things, that stick with us our entire lives. I can recall, as a teenager, trying to get a hold of Roy on the phone at his house to go outside to do whatever. A voice and five words stick out in my memory. Mrs. Kangas, with that New York accent would say, "Roy, Wally's on the phone." As I waited for Roy to answer, Mrs. Kangas would sometimes ask, "How you doing Wally?" How's your mom?" Roy, would then say, "I got it." Then it was, "Bye Wally," from Mrs. Kangas. "Bye, Mrs. Kangas," from this hurried, got-to-go teenager. God blessed me with a small, but beautiful memory.

Mom was one tough gal. She had to take care of us kids while dad was in Vietnam and whatever other travels he did. Taking care of us kids was no easy task. She did it all by herself (with some help from her sister and Vic). She always took good care of everything. I don't think she was ever late for an appointment in her whole life.
Bye Mom, Love you so much

My family's heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your mother. She was a good friend to my mom (Jennie Wheeler). Mom was planning on attending the wake and service but due to her health condition is unable to. We will be thinking about her and praying for her and all her family.
