Please remember that smile, how she gave it so often so freely. The theme to the Mary Tyler Moore show had a line; "Who could turn the world on with a smile, who could take a nothing day, and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile..." That was my Aunt Muriel. You could be having an absolutely horrible day, stop Mert's house and when you were greeted with that smile, you couldn't help but feel better. We love you Aunt Muriel, and we'll hold that smile in our hearts forever.
Your loving Nephew & wife

When my Grandmother passed away years ago, Murial and Johnnie opened their home to my sister, her new baby and myself. We stayed with them while we were in Rome for the funeral. Johnnie rocked that baby like she was his own! Murial not only fussed over us but fed us like we were queens and she made her wonderful jello! I loved that stuff!!! Murial was a wonderful woman and will be missed. And now she is with her beloved Johnnie dancing in Heaven. You will always be remembered in my heart! Love, Serena

Aunt Muriel wasn't blood relation but I still consider her family. She was a great role model and taught all of us her values. I felt honored that she let me call her aunt.
