Monty was as good a guy as you could ever meet. Like my father, he was a Korean War veteran. He was a no nonsense guy with a genuine appreciation for the big and small things in life. We had some wonderful conversations about the state of our country and the world, and had a lot in common in these areas. It was always great to see him with that wide smile and never quit attitude.
His wife Rita has been our substitute organist at St. Josephs for the last few years. Seeing her with Monty always reminded me of what true love really looks like. They had such a beautiful relationship. May God bless Monty, Rita, the kids and grandkids as they deal with this great loss.
Jesus himself will reunite us all with our loved ones. His promises are true and without question or doubt.
Many prayers for you all from your St. Josephs music ministry family.
