Obituary of Ronald W. Lyman, Sr.
Ronald W. Lyman, Sr., age 85, of Rome, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2020, at Rome Memorial Hospital after a long battle with Leukemia and his most recent battle with the Covid-19 virus.
Ron was born in Rome on September 4, 1934 to the late Melvin and Rose Miller Lyman. He graduated from Westmoreland High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He loved all sports, whether it was playing them in his younger years, coaching, refereeing or watching his grandchildren play, he loved it all. He was a big fan for any Rome or Westmoreland team.
