As my sister (Kellie Burke) said. We used to be next door neighbors to Freddie back in the 70's and she was one of the best people I ever met. She was a kind, wonderful soul who brought a lot of joy and happiness into my life when everything was falling apart around me and left me with great memories that I will never forget.
I remember listening to Queen for the first time at her house, all of us watching the TV show Emergency every Saturday night, the trips we used to go on and the love she showed me. She was like a Step-Mom to me and I miss her terribly.
My sincere condolences go out to the family and may God "Rest and Bless" her soul. I know you are still around smiling and shining your love from above.

Freddie worked at the Visiting Nurses association and was a wonderful caring nurse to all of her patients. She was a wonderful woman and would help in any way she could. She also loved to sing and would join us when we had special little singalongs at the Visiting Nurses Association. She will be miss --Janet Martin

"Freddie" was one of my mom's closest friends from childhood so I knew Freddie my whole life, she was always warm and friendly and a joy to talk with. We'd run into each other around town and she was always so cheerful! I know my mom will miss her deeply and so will I.

To Freddie's family, please accept my deepest sympathies for her loss. I met Freddie in June of 1970 when I started working at Rome Hospital in the Emergency Room. I was a new graduate nurse and she was the experienced one. She took me under her wing and taught me so much. I've always been grateful for working with her. Thank you Freddie and may you rest in peace. I'm sure there's a special place in Heaven or you.
