Obituary of Amanda L. Osborne

Amanda L. Osborne, age 53, of Rome, passed away on October 18, 2021.

She was born April 17, 1968, in Oneida, a daughter of Wesley, Sr. and Dawn Marie Brown Osborne, and graduated from Oneida High School. Amanda has been the loving companion of Howard J. Kirk III, for many years. She served as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Hutchings Center in Syracuse for many years.

Amanda was a loving and caring person with a wonderful infectious smile and laugh. She cherished her beautiful grandchildren above all else in the world and would go above and beyond for them.

Amanda is survived by her daughter, Laura Osborne; son, Kyle Kirk; father Wesley Osborne, Sr.; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Deborah and Charles Jones, Tammy Osborne (Kampf) Mahady, and Sherri Chevier; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Scott and Kate Osborne, and Wesley “Rick” Osborne, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased by her mother, Dawn Osborne, and a niece Jessica Froelick.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM, at St. Joseph’s Church in Lee Center.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Port Leyden.

There are no calling hours.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Amanda Osborne Memorial Fund at AmeriCU bank in Oneida, NY. Donations much needed and appreciated!!
