Obituary of Rocco A. Alsante
Rocco A. Alsante, age 72, of Rome, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2022.
He was born June 18, 1949, in Utica, a son of the late Rocco Alsante and Shirley Reynolds. Rocco is married to the former Joann Bingham. He was a truck driver and most recently worked for Waste Management. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, in Vietnam and received the National Defense Service Medal, Marksmanship Badge, Vietnamese Service Medal, Vietnamese Campaign Medal and Combat Action Ribbon.
Rocco is survived by his wife, Joann; children, Jolene Alsante and Edward D’Angiolini of Frackville, PA, Heyli Alsante and Mark Grady of Rome, and Timothy Alsante of Rome; grandchildren, Brittney, Mark, Ed, Eli, Marayah and Anthony, and sisters and brothers.
The funeral service with Military Honors will be private.
There are no calling hours.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
