Obituary of MaryAnn Krzynowek
MaryAnn Krzynowek, age 74, passed away on January 18, 2022 at Rome Health.
She was born in Rome on September 22, 1947 to the late William S. and Annette Lauda Krzynowek. She was educated in the Rome Schools and graduated from RFA in 1965. MaryAnn worked in various offices in the Rome area, including the Rome City Treasurer’s Office where she worked for ten years.
MaryAnn enjoyed Polka music, Octoberfest music festivals, riding her bicycle, camping, and family picnics. She was of the catholic faith.
MaryAnn is survived by her sister, Deborah Yoder of Rome; a niece, Michelle Yoder of PA; a nephew, David Yoder of PA; her former brother-in-law, Nathan Yoder; her aunts, Stephanie Lord of GA, and Angie Lauda of CA; her godson, Lance Tully of Jamestown, NY; her lifelong friend, Carol Ferlo; and many cousins in Rome, Georgia, Alabama, and California. She was predeceased by her aunts and uncles, Carmella Lauda, Joseph (Mary) Ksynowek, Beatrice (Nicholas) Brement; Tony Snow, Frank Ksynowek, Dominick Lauda, and Louis Lord; and a lifelong friend, Cathy Powell-Lynch.
MaryAnn would like to thank the Hospice staff for the care and compassion received when they took care of her mother, Annette in 2015.
The family of MaryAnn would also like to thank the staff at Rome Health and Roswell/Oneida Cancer Center, and the doctors of the Wound Care Center at Griffiss Park for their considerate care and compassion shown to MaryAnn.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 6 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in the spring.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 6 PM prior to the funeral.
