Sending deepest condolences to the family and friends of Nichole 'Nikki' Marie Patnode. While I did not know her I did take note from her obituary that she had a love (one that I share as well) of bonsai trees. As a founder of Mohawk Valley Bonsai Club I want to offer to anyone who is now taking up the guardianship role for the ongoing care of Nikki's little trees any advice needed going forward.
