Obituary of Robert A. Oliver
Robert “Bob” A. Oliver, 65 of Rome, passed away on May 25, 2024.
Bob was born August 4, 1958 to Robert L. and Jeannette (Boudreau) Oliver in Athol, MA and moved to Rome, where he lived most of his life, working at International Wire for many years.
Bob enjoyed hunting and fishing and living life to the beat of his own drum.
Bob is survived by his sons, Rob Oliver and Mike Fox; grandchildren, Serenity, Mikey, Rayden, and Melina; brother, Michael J. Oliver; his previous wife with whom he remained good friends with, Nancy “Sue” Tebo; and many nieces and nephews. His siblings, who left this life too soon, were Theresa, Louise, and James.
The family would like to thank his friend and caregiver, Greg, for the care and friendship he provided.
Bob’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 6 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 6 PM prior to the service.
