I have known Diane for about 25 years and we became very close friends. Diane and I used to take care of someone together. Diane taught me a lot about cooking, gardening and different crafts. In February I became her caregiver and during that time we became so close that I started to call her mom because that is how strong our bond was. I will greatly miss you mom with all of my heart and I'll cherish all the memories we shared together. I am glad that I spent time with you on Saturday before you went up to heaven.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Diane was an amazing friend to my grandmother and my uncle; even though I didn’t know her well, she felt like family. I am very grateful to her for everything she did for them and for me such as sharing her wonderful art like a blanket she made and a custom needlepoint she made for my uncle Bob. She was one of the most interesting people I have ever met and she will be missed. Sincerest condolences to her whole family. Please know that I will never forget her kindness and still tell the story of how she found her ring in her garden when pulling up carrots to my kids. May she rest now.
