Charlotte R. Alari, age 73, Rome passed away peacefully, February 16, 2016.
She was born May 13, 1942, in Rome the daughter of the late Edgar and Elinor Schneible Knight, and graduated from Rome Free Academy and attended Bucknell University. Charlotte was married to Joseph A. Alari. She was employed for many years at Rome Cable Corp.
Charlotte was a member of Teugega Country Club, where she enjoyed playing tennis, and an ardent Bridge player.
Charlotte is survived by her husband Joseph; two daughters and sons in law, Katherine and Richard Quattrociocchi of the Town of Lee, and Susan and Howard Johnson of Fulton; a step-son, Quinton J. Alari of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Michael and Holly Quattrociocchi, and Timothy Quattrociocchi, Kathleen and Timothy DeBarr, Kristen Johnson and Dakotah Alari and a great granddaughter, Mila DeBarr.
The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff at Betsy Ross Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, especially Jessica and Mandy for their care, compassion and friendship extended to Charlotte
Private funeral services will be held at Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in Rome Cemetery.
