To the family of Helen Wood, we, the Pflanzer--Cawl Family, would like to express our heartfelt condolences to the passing of our great Den Mother of Boys Scouts of America, Helen Wood. We always have remembered the good times of the days of Scouting many years ago...we still haven't forgotten the time when she announced that she was pregnant unexpectedly with Danny (he was a beautiful baby), she hasn't been the same since. But we all have not forgotten Ernie when he was with us for Scouting. However, the best memory we all had was the time that my Dad pulled Ernie's CHEVY truck with my Dad's FORD truck during the worst storm of the Camporee up in Canada! God, that was a hoot! God bless HELEN!!!!!!!

Bill and I spent many happy times at Halfmoon Beach in Piseco with Ernie and Helen. I was Danny's "summer mom" and our sons spent many summers together. Helen loved her camp and the outdoors. We spent hours on the beach, boating on their party barge --how they both loved that! - having meals together, and generally enjoying each other's company. Our condolences go out to her children. They were lucky and priviledged to have had such a wonderful mother. She will always be fondly remembered.
