Pat was one of the 'good guys'. His decency, warm presence and pleasant demeanor will be truly missed as well as the chance to hear his many stories, and talk politics and sports with him on my trips to Florida each winter while visiting my mother and him. God bless Pat and family! Dan Tubridy

I was in shock when I heard of Pat's passing. I shared a lot of found memories of Pat when we were students at St. Bonaventure and after we graduated,we kept in contact. Pat was a gentlemen in all respect and was always there to help you out no matter what it was. We had some great times and loads of laughs. It was a pleasure to be in Pat's company and and I am so fortunate to know Pat. We have our special angel in haven watching over us. RIP brother.

It was a pleasure to meet Pat and get to know him over the past decade. He brought great happiness to my mother over these many years for which I am very grateful. Even though he was a Yankees fan we still loved him in Boston! He will be greatly missed.

Pat was a great guy, I loved listening to his stories about his parents making wine and cheese, salami and sausages hanging in their basement. We always looked forward when he would come to Florida for the winter. We will miss you Pat.

I am very sorry to hear of Pat's passing. As a guidance counselor, Pat was the ultimate diplomat. He knew how to bring teacher, student, and parent together to solve conflicts. His cheerful personality went a long way when resolving problems involving students, faculty, and parents. When I think of Strough Junior High, I see the smiling face of Pat Stirpe. He was a good man.
