Although my heart is heavy hearing of the passing of Mom Garris I also feel blessed that I was able to be part of Mom's family. She always put a smile on my face and I am sure I did the same to her. I will always remember her from her smile and the best greens I ever ate. She still owed me some so I know when the good Lord calls me she will be waiting with some. My sincere condolences to the entire family. But what she has left you with in your heart, all are truly blessed !! Rest In Peace Mom Garris !
As a child, I would write letters to Aunt Dorothy and she would always write me back. I looked forward to summertime when we'd visit her & watch lots of tv in the basement. R.I.P. Auntie. Miss you. Niece Paula
