I am so sorry about your mom's passing. She was a good friend and I have many good memories about the talks and all the good times we shared. I will miss her very much. She was a very gracious and beautiful woman who loved her children very much. All of you were the most important thing in her life and she was so very proud of all of you. I will miss her very much but will hold my memories of our friendship close to my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Mrs Yaddow was my kindergarten teacher at Denti Elementary. She was a fantastic teacher and I still have memories from her class when I was 5 years old. Little did I know then that her and her family would become very important to me over the following years. Her son, Ryan, became one of my lifelong best friends a few years after kindergarten. We spent so much time together that I got close to the rest of the family. I spent a LOT of time with Ryan at his various houses over the years (as he did at mine) and according to my mother we were basically "brothers". Those times were some of the best of my life, out exploring the city and skating and making plans at what life would be like in the future. During this time Linda became less of a teacher and more of a friend. I got close with her other children...Wayne and Rachel...I got to know Travis, her grandson, in high school. We had a lot of good times (and got in a lot of trouble) but through it all Linda kept a very realistic viewpoint that we were all good kids, we were just having our fun and being young. Some of my most formative memories from my teens happened with Linda's family and I appreciate now that she was a "teacher" to me throughout her life. I was lucky to have someone like her involved in my life from such an early age and I was extremely lucky to get to know her and her family very closely over the course of almost 20 years. Her life and her family's life deeply changed mine and those of many people I still stay in contact with. She'll be missed, but remembered with a smile...

I can honestly say I have very fond memories of her that will never go away. My heart goes out to all of you! Especially Travis, you have been my friend since we were in diapers and I know you always will be and same goes for me. She was and always will be known for the woman she was, and I know I will never forget her. Sincerely, Kim Hopper
