Margaret N. Moyer Margaret N. Moyer, age 100, formerly of Meadow Drive, passed away March 1, 2009. She was born July 10, 1908, in Creekside, PA, a daughter of James and Mina Nye Patterson, and educated in South Fork, PA schools. Margaret was united in marriage to Clifford T. Moyer, on January 25, 1939, in Indiana, PA; he died in 1977. She was formerly employed at the Roaring Spring Department Store, Roaring Spring, PA. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Lee Center, and the St. Joseph's Church Women's Club. Margaret is survived by a daughter and son in law, Marian and Paul Thompson of Rome; a son and daughter in law, Irving and Shirley Moyer of Martinsburg, PA.; 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters, Ellen and Adeline, and her brother, William. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church, Lee Center. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Martinsburg, PA. Relatives and friends may call at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, Tuesday 4 to 7 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Church Music Ministry or the Rome Humane Society.
