Obituary of Elisha A. Woodcock

Elisa A. Woodcock, age 54, of the Town of Lee, passed away unexpectedly on February 27, 2017 at Rome Memorial Hospital. Elisa was born in Schenectady, NY on September 3, 1962 to the late George and Audrey Sea Meyers. She was educated in the Canajoharie School system. She worked as a nurse assistant at the Mohawk Homestead. Elisa was a loving mother and grandmother. She had a great sense of humor and loved to joke around. She also enjoyed playing Clash of Kings on her phone. Elisa is survived by her companion of 23 years, William "Billy" Lance of Lee Center; two daughters and sons in law, Nisha and Larry Durtey of Mexico, NY, and Stephanie and Justin Dolly of Ilion; five sons and three daughters in law, Shawn Woodcock of Lee Center, Christopher and Stephanie Woodcock of Elmira, NY, Zachariah Woodcock of Altmar, NY, Matthew and Desiree Woodcock of Canajoharie, NY; and Keith and Brittany Woodcock of Lee Center; many loving grandchildren; a great grandson on the way; her stepchildren, Rebecca Lance, Eric Lance, William Lance Jr., Nicole Lance, Desiree Lance, and Billiann Lance; and two brothers and a sister in law, James and Tammy Hughes, and Joseph Hughes. Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family Relatives and friends may call at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, on Monday from 4 to 7 PM.
