Marie A. Fullem, age 76, of Rome, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2017, with her loving family at her side, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born November 28, 1940, in Rome, a daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine Seoane Peluso. She graduated from Rome Free Academy in 1958. Marie was united in marriage to Michael Fullem on July 20, 1973, in Rome. She worked several years for Marine Midland Bank, and later worked and retired from the Bank of America. She was a member of St. Peter's Church.
Marie enjoyed summers at the family camp on Fourth Lake and the yearly vacations to North Myrtle Beach.
Marie is survived by her husband, Michael; her son, Chris Fullem of the Town of Ohio; her cherished grandchildren, Logan and Nathan; and lastly her dog "Mimi".
The family wishes to sincerely thank Dr. Samir Desai and his staff, Cathryn Barns, NP, of the Mohawk Valley Practitioners, the staff of Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare Center, for their care, compassion and friendship extended to Marie during her illness. Thanks to all our family and friends that have been so supportive. A special thanks to Christina Fullem and the Rauscher family for their support during this difficult time.
