I always knew that it would hurt when you left us here to go on to a better place, but I never imagined that it would hurt as much as it does. I smile when I think of all the memories I have of you, all the amazing things that you did with us. I can remember like yesterday how we would all sit around the fire at camp and hang on every word that you said, the way you would laugh at your own jokes before you got to the punch line...but as I think of all these memories my heart begins to hurt. I miss you. I miss you so much and wish we had more time, more time with you, more time to laugh, more time to hear more stories. I know that you are in a beautiful place and no longer suffering, and for that I am thankful. But even though I know you wouldn't want me to be sad I will be...I will miss you everyday until the day I can be with you again to hear you call me your munch. I love you grandpa..no one compares to you or ever will.
