Charles H. Helton aka Chuck posted a condolence

I'm Charles Helton, aka Chuck, of Newnan, Ga. I first met Ron, aka Fish, in 1956 at Turner Air Force Base in Albany, Ga. We were part of the 31st Air Base Group. As young men beginning life on our own and away from our families and home, we bonded and became good friends. Other immediate buddies we were close to were; Leo Hotchkiss of Statesboro, Ga., L.C. Lumley of Pfafftown, N.C., and Cole Sample of Batesville, Ar. We shared many good times and our friendship continued into our life after the Air Force. Over the years Ron, aka Fish, made many trips to Georgia and we made more great memories together. The last "special" visit Ron made to Georgia was to be here for a "surprise" birthday party for my 50th birthday. And that was on Christmas Eve! Now that was a friend indeed! But that was Ron. So, in closing, on behalf of myself and my wife, Aliree, to Ron's family; May God Bless You in this time of loss. And we know God in His infinite wisdom has already blessed Ron.
