Don and I became friends immediately upon my entry into the HP Middle school. He encouraged me in the pursuit of advanced programs. He was the man who brought the Computer age to the School. He asked me if I would like a computer, I said Yes. It turned out to be a teletype machine and a wooden box modem. That was the very beginning of the modern Computer. Thank you Don, for helping all of us through some very tough austerity years. My wife and I will never forget you, especially those summer cookouts, which you prepared.

Don was always a Presence. When he was part of a group you knew it - he laughed, told stories, sang - and always wanted to make the world a better place. We will miss him greatly.

To the family: Brother Don, aka "Big Daddy," was loved and cherished by the men he ministered to in prison. While reflecting on his life one of the incarcerated brothers said, "Don made us feel like family." It was a beautiful thought befitting a wonderful soul. The Full Gospel Men's Business Fellowship will never be quite the same with the passing of Don. Please know that he did good work! Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of need.

I have such fond memories of Don when we taught together... From his ever jovial spirit and attitude to challenging my husband and Dar Mucica to eat the most steaks at the faculty dinners at the Buffalo Head. He had a wonderful passion for life, love of family, and pride in all he did. We can all rejoice in having been part of his life. My prayers and sympathy to you all... Jean Ward

Don was a mentor to a young, scared college graduate who was starting a career in teaching. He took me under his wing and by discussion and example he helped me thru the first toughest years. He was always there to help and lead and encourage everyone. His enthusiasm seemed to be boundless - he will always be missed. May he rest in peace in the place where he belongs.

Don always did his best to grab the attention of others & share something with them whether it be song, poem, food, or cards. It's amazing how he could pull words together on the spot to share. I think his booming voice, & smile as he sang will be what he is most remembered for by others. Pearl Sanborn

I remember Mr. Miller as a little girl in Sunday School. He always had a smile on his face and kind words and jokes for us kids. My sympathies to Mark and your family.
