Dear Sunshine,
Even though we never met Ray in person we got a sense of him through your pictures and how you talked about him, always with love.
We could tell by your description of your life together just how much you and he loved and cared for each other.
Always smiling and having a good time, being partners in crime.
You were a good partner for him and during the tough times during Ray’s illness, you were his greatest advocate and supporter, something we are sure he was extremely grateful for.
How lucky you both were to have had each other and to have shared so many wonderful moments.
We share your sorrow and want you to know we are thinking of you.
With love, Jim & Mindy

Ray was one of a kind, a true lover of good food, good drink, great conversation, and of course, his loving wife Sunshine. I never recall seeing either Ray or Sunshine alone. They were always together and always engaging in conversation with whoever happened to be near. Ray's British accent, gregarious demeanor, gift for storytelling, and his robust laugh will always be remembered. We shared common interests in restaurants, recipes, where to purchase ingredients, and where to find a great happy hour. Always supportive and always a gentleman. I'm certain that he has a new group of friend that he's entertaining and is patiently busy preparing a space for Sunshine, the love of his life.

Sunshine, my love and prayers go out to you during this extremely difficult time. I’m always here if you need me!! I’ll never forget when we were roomies in Key West, when I saw for the first time in my life, someone eat a fish eyeball…only for Ray to say it was a delicacy….I thought Ray had gone mad lol!!
What an amazing soul!! Rest in Peace Dear Friend Ray.

Dear Sunshine and Fur Kids,
Ray was totally in love with all of you and taking care of him every day and having the kids visit him before he passed, I know was very special to him. Ray told you he would never forget any of you and although he's no longer with us, he left all of us with love in our hearts and a better person having known him.
In 32 years there was a lot of love and laughter. Please hold on to that memory and know he is looking down on all of you knowing you Sunshine, Peaches and Cream, Jazzie and Sammie were the love of his life.
